Models ready for the Fiji Fashion week

ALL 120 models are ready to take on the catwalk to showcase raw designing talents of 50 designers participating in Fashion Week scheduled for later this month.

Fiji Fashion Week managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said after Saturday's model's rehearsal, she knew they were ready.

There are 40 models for the major categories, 50 secondary student models and 30 children model.

They had been rehearsing for the past two months.

"Oh yes (they are ready)! The big models are a real force to be reckoned with, I reckon," Ms Whippy-Knight said.

"They are very good," she said.

Those models will participate in the three shows scheduled for November 12 at the TappooCity complex in Suva.

There will be three shows on the day ù the Children's Fashion Show, the Pacific Island Fashion Show and the Emerging Designers show that will also feature international designers.
